We’ve teamed up with London’s only commercial-scale vineyard for this exclusive event
Forty Hall Vineyard, one of our LOTI Heroes, is the only commercial-scale vineyard in London since the Middle Ages. Not only does Forty Hall Vineyard produce award-winning, certified organic wines, like London Brut 2020 and Bacchus 2023, it also runs an ecotherapy project. Income from the sales of wine is used to provide opportunities for the local community (particularly those with mental health issues) to work in the vineyard, helping to improve their mental and physical health and provide social connection.
We’ve teamed up with Forty Hall Vineyard to host an exclusive 1 ½ hour vineyard tour and a wine tasting in the vineyard itself on Sun 13th July. As well as being shown around London’s only commercial-scale vineyard, you’ll be guided through a tasting of three current release wines by a WSET certified wine educator and get the chance to taste one of the vineyard’s oldest vintage sparkling wines.
Once the tasting is over, you’ll get a FHV sparkling wine stopper to take home and a personalised limited-edition illustrated postcard, with a 20% voucher to spend on the day if you want to buy some bottles to take home. The community farmers market will be running on the same day as the event, so you’ll also be able to grab some street food for lunch, pick up local produce, and explore the Forty Hall Estate farm and grounds afterwards.
