band Girls Names have revealed the latest single to be taken from their forthcoming ‘Arms Around A Vision’ album due out October 2nd via Tough Love Records. The six minute long ‘A Hunger Artist’ is a gloriously fuzzy and fervent sonic escapade through krautrock, glam rock and elements of shoegaze with shattering guitars, soaring synths and dynamic drumbeats clashing and climbing into explosive meoldies and intriguing tempo changes.

Having lived hand to mouth from a young age in order to pursue a career in music, frontman Cathal Cully has made no secrets as to what the subject matter of the track is, saying “Most guitar music now is just a playground for the rich middle classes and it’s really boring and elitist. We’re elitist in our own way, in that we’re on our own and you can’t f*ck with us when we’ve nothing to lose”…Creative, clever and catchy, the track leaves us hungry for more.
