Homelessness charity Shelter is turning 50 this year, and to mark the big birthday they’re hosting four special events in July and August across art, music, literature and film. The series kicks off with an evening of live readings featuring Book Slam and PJ Harvey, with an exhibition launch from Richie Culver, a rooftop screening of High Rise plus a Q&A with director Ben Wheatley, and an acoustic show from Shura all following. Tickets for each event are 10 quid, all of which goes to Shelter, and you have to enter a ballot for the chance to buy them, so hurry up and get your name in the mix!
