Summer’s over, we all know that by now. But fear not peeps, as September’s giggery will make you forget all about your pains. First act of our list is ethereal post-rockers Esben and the Witch, gracing Oslo Hackney’s stage on the 4th. Their new album ‘A New Nature’ is going to be released on the 1st, ergo it’s going to be bloody awesome!
05 SEPTEMBER PULLED APART BY HORSES @ ROUGH TRADE EAST
With their third album ‘Blood’ released on the 1st of September, alt-rockers Pulled Apart By Horses will make a special one-off at Rough Trade East on the 5th in support of their latest work. We truly love their stoner rock sound, so advice is to buy the album at Rough Trade and get your wristband for what is going to be a truly sweaty gig!

11 SEPTEMBER DEADCUTS @ HOXTON SQUARE BAR & KITCHEN
London’s alt-rock quartet Deadcuts are a band that demands to be experienced live. Bearing that in mind, get down to Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on the 11th for some ‘straight from the crypt’ tunes taken from their debut album ‘Dark Is The Night’. You won’t be disappointed.
14 SEPTEMBER INVICTUS GAMES CLOSING CONCERT @ QUEEN ELIZABETH OLYMPIC PARK
Invictus Games, presented by Jaguar Land Rover has a rather spectacular line-up, featuring names such as Kaiser Chiefs, Ellie Goulding, Ryan Adamas, The Vamps, James Blunt and headlined by Foo Fighters themselves. Marking the conclusion of the new international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women, with the Stadium and the ArcelorMittal Orbit as background, it is bound to take your breath away.
17 SEPTEMBER LOVE L.U.V. @ THE SOCIAL
When it’s about catchy garage-pop acts we’re all over them, that’s why we love Love L.U.V. so much! Best thing is they’re going to play at The Social on the 17th. We guess we’ll see you all there.
24 SEPTEMBER THE MOONS @ BUSH HALL
Psych-rockers The Moons from Northampton are a previous band of Temples’ James Bagshaw and Tom Warmsley. They keep their sound rather dreamy, truly enjoyed when played live. With a third album ‘Mindwaves’ released in July, they’re going to be gracing the Bush Hall stage on the 24th.
24 SEPTEMBER JAGWAR MA @ THE GARAGE
One of the most exciting bands we’ve had the pleasure of seeing live this summer at different festivals are Sydney’s Jagwar Ma. Their Beach Boys melodies and straight up rave tuneage is pretty powerful stuff. This is not to be missed!
26/27/28 SEPTEMBER THE LIBERTINES @ ALEXANDRA PALACE
Yep, the Libs are back again. And not for just one tiny little show. It is a string of three dates we’re talking about. Gracing the beautiful Alexandra Palace’s stage, be sure to catch the “boys in the band” strumming their unforgettable tunes.
