The Islington salon is very on-trend when it comes to design, both in terms of graphics and interiors. It feels like it could be a lifestyle hotel brand, coffee shop or indeed ‘grocerant’ in any city in the world. It’s spread across three floors, with the treatment rooms in the basement, nail salon stations above, and facials on the ground floor level.
I popped in for a three-level pamper, kicking off with a wax down below (pun intended). The therapist was skilled and fast, the room was clean and comfortable but let’s face it, this will never be pain-free and I DREAD the time this comes around every 4-6 weeks. Then it was up above to the nail salon for a more relaxing gel pedicure followed by a brow shape and tint before being whisked out the door in two hours flat.
If like me (and every single other Londoner I know, well almost, my husband is an exception) you’re time starved, over worked and usually spend your time in the chair doing emails, then Pre- is the perfect place to go and get a spruce up. Once you’re in, there’s no travel time between treatments and even great Wi-Fi because Zooming from the salon is so 2024. Super convenient and your boss will never know…
