insanely clever lot at Converse have announced a month long series of events. Oh yes, they are taking London’s backyard playgrounds…pubs…and turning them into their ultimate Winterized Venues which include The Old George in Bethnal Green, The Masons Arms on Harrow Road, The Abbey tavern on Kentish Town Road and the New Cross House on New Cross Road.

Sticking two chucks up at the bad weather, Converse have introduced ‘Get Winterized’ where shorter days and longer nights mean all the more fun for us lot. Each night is different so there’s something for you all, whether it’s the Movie Night on the 9th with a screen of the cult classic Wayne’s World, the Quiz Night on the 14th hosted by Mr Huw Stephens or the Comedy Night on the 22nd with Adam Buxton. We however will be holding out for the Gig Night on the 30th where Leanne La Havas will perform an acoustic set with support from Swim Deep, Two Inch Punch, Theme park and Thumpers..wowza!

Tickets are free, but as they will be in high demand you need to WIN them by declaring your interest for one or more of the nights over at their site.
