The heatwave is set to reach a scorching high this weekend so, to lend a helping hand Beavertown Brewery will be handing out FREE BEER at London’s hottest tube stations. On Sunday the Beavertown crew will be at Tottenham Court Road, Green Park and Marble Arch from `2pm – 4pm handing out ice-cold cans of their beers, including their crisp IPA Nanobot and their low ABV bev Lazer Crush.
The London Underground can get dangerously hot in the summer, in fact, in July 2020 it was found that the Bakerloo line is the hottest, reaching an intense 30 degrees. The Central line wasn’t far off, hitting 29 degrees, while the Victoria line was the third hottest at 27 degrees. It’s definitely not fun down there at the moment, but if you absolutely must get the tube this weekend, keep your eye out for the Beavertown team and grab yourself a beer to cool down – just remember to have some water too.
