Apricity is hosting a FREE supper club with South Korea’s no.1 kimchi brand, Jongga, and we’re giving our INSIDERS all the deets. In keeping with Apricity’s low-waste commitment, the series of dinners titled ‘(P)reserve a Table’ will highlight the risk plant diversity is under. A recent study by Jongga found that almost a third of people in the UK aren’t aware of this issue and that four in 10 can’t imagine not being able to buy everyday fruits and veggies at the shop – a reality we’ll face if plant diversity continues to decline.
So, Apricity and Jongga have collaborated on this supper club to bring attention to our collective need to help preserve fruits and vegetables for future generations to enjoy. Using Jongga kimchi as the hero ingredient, Apricity’s multi-award-winning owner and chef, Chantelle Nicholson has created a seven-course tasting menu of seasonal dishes. Expect the likes of Jongga kimchi tempura with fig leaf mayo, Chiswell bavette steak with a Jongga kimchi & carrot tart, and a Jongga kimchi margarita on arrival.
The entirely FREE dinners will be held on 30th September, 1st October and 13th October, bookings for each go live soon and you can book a max of two spaces per person.
