The Soho chocolate cafe – it’s the one with flowing chocolate fountains in the window – is one of the city’s best dessert spots, where the dishes are fresh, made-to-order and drizzled in premium Belgian milk, white and dark chocolate.
The menu features a range of crepes, waffles, pancakes, chocolate-dipped strawberries and fruit sticks, plus a create-your-own option, but the signature menu is where the real gems are. Inspired by different cuisines from around the world, the desserts include:
- Sushi Crepe – rolled crepes with fillings like banana, brownies and strawberries that are cut like sushi, drizzled with chocolate and served with a pot of chocolate on the side
- Fettuccine Crepe – thinly-sliced crepes tossed in warm chocolate sauce and topped with fruit, sprinkles, marshmallows and brownies
- Burrito Crepe – a crepe roll filled with banana, strawberries, kiwi and pineapple, drizzled with chocolate sauce and sprinkled with Rice Krispies
- Chocolate Fondue – a pot of chocolate straight from the fountain
If you prefer your chocolate in liquid form, you can get spiced hot chocolates; canned milkshakes, iced chocolates and white chocolate matcha lattes; and specialty coffee from Origin Coffee Roasters.
