The Italian restaurant, deli and bar has expanded into E14
Lina Stores, known for celebrating the best Italian produce across its shelves, menu and cocktail list, has opened in Canary Wharf, with an open-plan delicatessen, 100-cover restaurant and a 76-cover Bar Lina.
The deli, inspired by the OG Lina Stores on Brewer Street, is stocked with an array of pantry essentials, plus coffee and breakfast sarnies for the mornings and salads, panini, cannoli and bombolini for the daytime. At the restaurant, decked out in the brand’s signature green, you can dine on antipasti, fresh homemade pasta (like 30-egg yolk taglioni with black truffle and casarecce alla calabrese with prawns), chicken milanese, and tiramisu.
And if you want a pre- or post-dinner drink, you can head into Bar Lina. The cocktail bar looks the part – dark, glossy reds and 1970s vibes – and the drinks, created by Head Bartender Matteo Pesce, are on point too. There’s a dedicated negroni section on the menu, plus spritzes and serves like the Bloody Martini (Altamura Vodka, Mancino Secco and tomato water), the Caffè (Vecchia Romagna, Amaro Montenegro, cold brew coffee, honey & cardamom syrup, and salted butter), and the Mai Dai (Coconut Campari, Pineapple Vecchia Romagna, orange, orgeat syrup and lime).
