Il Gattopardo brings authentic Italian regional dishes to Mayfair across a series of chic dining spaces inspired by the 1960s Italian Riveria, including a main dining room with fireplaces and Italian art, a terrazza with green ivy and a retractable roof, and a counter crudo bar where you can watch the chefs at work.
This spring the restaurant is launching Il Pranzo, a brand new weekend lunch menu that gives diners the chance to indulge in an Italian feast ‘per la tavola’ style. The £58 sharing menu begins with a selection of antipasti for the table, including affetati, treccia, pizzetta and calamari.
Then it’s onto the secondi of pasta alla norma, with mezzi rigatoni pasta, aubergine, San Marzano tomato and salted ricotta; roasted beef sirloin with grilled Romano peppers, roasted potatoes, and a beef & red wine reduction; and a mixed salad of seasonal leaves, capers, tomatoes, and aged balsamic dressings. To finish, you’ll get both Il Gattopardo’s signature tiramisu and fior di latte gelato with chocolate sauce and toppings.
