Grab a late-night bite for less
As well as serving up some super creative cocktails – the Belle Mare, a take on a martini that comes in a shell-like glass, and the candyfloss-topped Aomori are particular faves – Covent Garden bar and restaurant Oriole is one of the best places in town to go for dinner and a show. And now it’s somewhere for all you night owls to flock to as it’s just launched a brand new late-night food menu.
Running from 10pm onwards on Wednesdays to Saturdays in the basement dining room, the After Hours menu includes dishes like:
- chickpea chips with aioli
- truffle mash croquettes with huancaina and dried olives
- pork katsu sando with kimchi
- burger with provoleta, fries and truffle oil
- chicken karaage steamed bun with tamarind
- chocolate and hazelnut delice with tonka ice cream
You can tuck into that alongside Oriole’s signature cocktails, and if you head in on a Friday or Saturday night, you’ll also be treated to after hours live music, with sets featuring blues, jazz and world music. It’s worth staying up for.
