Shoreditch’s favourite whimsical cocktail bar, the Looking Glass Cocktail Club, is launching a new menu for autumn and winter inspired by well-known tales, myths and fables from around the world. The Looking Glass Cocktail Club is known for its weird and wonderful takes on classic cocktails – and it sounds like the new menu will stay true to form.
Highlights on the new list include the Tin Man Tipple (inspired by the Wizard of Oz, made with Blanco tequila, Lion’s Mane, Hay liquor and smoke), Peach Boy (inspired by Momotarō, made with Hakushu Japanese whisky, umeshu sake and peach distillate), Mr Wolf (inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, made with Absolut vodka, Konik’s Tail, dill and beetroot & honey foam) and Trickery in Stripes (inspired by The Sun and the Moon, made with Pisco, orange blossom water, lemon).
There’s plenty more to discover on the new menu, which launches this October, and you’ve not got long to wait until you’ll be sipping on fairytale cocktails against the backdrop of Le Boudoir or the Room Through The Looking Glass.
