The wellbeing cafe is bringing healthy food to the West End
After opening the flagship Volonté space, featuring a cafe and energy studio, in Chelsea in April 2022, co-founders, Vidushi Binani and Haylene Ryan Causer have expanded into the West End with a Café Volonté in the heart of Piccadilly. Named after the French feminine noun for ‘willpower’, Volonté is all about achieving wellbeing through abundance rather than restriction, so the Café Volonté menu covers all food groups and is nutritionist-approved.
Le Cordon Bleu-qualified co-founder Vidushi uses sustainable and seasonal produce for all the dishes on the menu, which also feature high-quality macro and micro-nutrients. They include:
- Turkish eggs on toast with harissa salsa and roasted peppers
- Yogi bowl with turmeric oats, mung beans, red pepper, carrot, tomato, cucumber, cashews and mint yoghurt
- avo toast with onion jam and feta
- mango, pineapple, passion fruit, coconut yoghurt and granola smoothie bowl
- BLT sandwich
- chipotle chicken wrap
- Sake bowl with wild rice, avocado, cucumber, miso salmon, wasabi mayo and sesame
- Chilli bowl with wild rice, lentil & bean chilli, turkey mince, red cabbage, slaw and coriander salsa
- Harissa bowl with quinoa, kale, sweet potato, herbed chickpeas, harissa yoghurt and cumin gremolata
The Balance Bowls are also available in half-portion sizes and there are also barista coffees and protein and collagen packed smoothies on offer, so whether you’re after a post-workout energy boost or a healthy lunch, you’ve got plenty of options at Café Volonté.
