Recently reopened after a change of hands, The Last Judgment in Holborn is an ornate pub based out of the historic Union Bank headquarters on Chancery Lane. The Last Judgment’s ‘Steak & Sole’ offering (as the name suggests) centres around 28-day dry-aged grass-fed beef steaks and sustainably, freshly caught Cornish day boat sole fillets – both for a reasonable price. You can pair those dishes with a range of sides, such as blooming onions, mac & cheese and ‘Filthy Fries’. Other mains include homemade beetroot falafel with house slaw, roasted free-range chicken and the ‘Big Mick’ burger, and you can finish your meal off with a certified classic for dessert, sticky toffee pudding.
