It’s that time of year: rooftop bar season. What better way to spend the day than soaking up the rays (sorry, we’ll stop rhyming now) with a craft beer in hand? Well, we’ve got a brand new sun-drenched spot to put you on to, as KRAFT in Dalston has just launched its very own rooftop bar at the top of the Kingsland Locke Hotel.
If you aren’t already clued in on KRAFT’s deal, it’s a bar owned by German Kraft Beer, who’ve got sites across town in Brixton, Elephant & Castle, Mayfair and, of course, Dalston. And their speciality is freshly brewed beer which they make on-site and serve straight from the tank. Their unfiltered and unpasteurised brews follow the German purity law from 1516, which means they only use water, malt, hops, and yeast. So, not only are you getting some top-quality beer, but you’re helping the brewery reduce CO2 emissions (by up to 75%) since they don’t require packaging or transportation.
At KRAFT’s new rooftop bar, you can catch stunning views of London’s skyline and feel as though you’ve been transported to somewhere tropical at the same time as the space is filled with palm trees and bamboo. There’s also a lineup of live DJs and, in the downstairs bar, a menu of Latin American and Japanese fusion dishes. Cheers to that!
