The team runs knife sharpening classes so you can learn how to return your knife to sharpness and maintain it properly. The ‘Introduction to Sharpening‘ class is for beginners and covers all the sharpening fundamentals, including the importance of different whetstones, techniques to get a razor sharp edge, and blade maintenance. This session also includes a tour around the Blenheim Forge workshop, where you can learn about the knife making process.
If you’ve already done the intro class or are confident in using Japanese whetstones, the ‘Advanced Sharpening Course‘ will teach you more specialist techniques like thinning, bevel refinement, single bevel sharpening, and the correct way to use natural stones.
