We never need an excuse to eat more sandwiches but when an occasion like British Sandwich Week (running from 19th – 25th May) rolls around, you can bet we’re gonna get involved. And we’re going big this year by teaming up with three of the city’s finest sarnie makers – and stars of the Sausage Press Sandwich Zine, which is now only £5 for the week – to create limited-edition sandwiches only available for the week and with a big discount for our INSIDERS too.

Deeney’s
Scottish-inspired cafe Deeney”s is swapping the haggis for tuna for this Sandwich Week special. The Pure Melt includes miso & sriracha tuna mayo, red onion, apple & fennel slaw and mature cheddar, with an option add-on of salt & vinegar crisps.

Dom’s Subs
You can always rely on a Dom’s Subs sarnie to provide a deep fill and a satisfying cut-through and this Sandwich Week special is no different. It’s bringing the heat with a rough cut Thai-style sausage, fennel salami, spicy green bean & beansprout salad with lime and herbs, chilli mayo, coriander and glazed cashews.

The Black Pig
The Black Pig is known for making sarnies so loaded that they require both hands to hold onto and reinforcements to finish. If you’re prepared to take on the challenge, then try the Shrimp’ly the Best this Sandwich Week. It’s filled with barbecued prawns, avocado, charred baby gem, Marie Rose sauce and prawn cocktail crisps, and topped with Skips Dust.
