Apothecary, the new izakaya in Shoreditch, has got into the brunch game with a funk and soul soundtrack and a new weekend menu. You start with a welcome drink and sharing sushi for the table, including spicy salmon and chirashi lucky rolls, before choosing one dish from the skewers, grilled veg, hirata buns, fried and dessert sections. With the likes of pork belly skewers, teriyaki chicken thigh skewers, charred gem lettuce with citrus miso, grilled cauliflower with black sesame, Japanese fried chicken buns, spicy tofu buns, miso glazed aubergine, crispy prawn tempura and miso caramel ice cream, the combinations are endless. And if you want to make it bottomless, you can add on free-flowing drinks for just £20 per person.
