One of our faves Gengahr have given us a REALLY early Christmas present in the form of their new ‘Tired Eyes’ EP. The three track EP, gathered together after the group revisted earlier recording sessions, combines all of Gengahr’s signature meandering guitars and dreamy falsetto vocals with more energetic Of Montrealesque beats and an overall fuller sound….. perhaps partly due to their collaboration with legendary producer Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, The War On Drugs, Animal Collective). The EP makes up part of the deluxe edition of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘A Dream Outside’ along with popular b-side ‘Haunter’ and recent Fugazi cover ‘I’m So Tired’.
