Genesis Is Rolling its Cinema Ticket and Popcorn Prices Back to 1999

The start of May is shaping up to be a bumper time for film fans. Not only is new indie cinema Coldharbour Blue opening its doors in Brixton but A24 is popping up at the Prince Charles Cinema for a week of spesh screenings. And now beloved east London cinema Genesis is getting in on the action by rolling back its ticket – and its popcorn – prices to what they were in 1999, in honour of its 26th birthday.

From Fri 2nd – Thurs 15th May, you’ll be able to catch modern classics like Aftersun, The Substance, Lost in Translation, Good Time, There Will Be Blood, The Matrix, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Persepolis, The Handmaiden, Pan’s Labyrinth, and Crank for just £.250. And with 1999 popcorn and drinks prices running too, this’ll be one bargain night out at the pictures.
