Somerset House is marking National Windrush Day with a weekend celebration that includes special events, talks, screenings and street food. KERB will be in the courtyard with Jamaican, Caribbean, Ghanaian and Nigerian inspired food from the likes of Only Jerkin’, Deserted Cactus and Flygerians; Don Letts will be premiering his film In Those Days; Kwame Kwei-Armah will be talking about his BBC series Soon Gone: A Windrush Chronicle; and there’ll be free screenings, talks and poetry readings across the two days too.
