Drinks master Tony Conigliaro and chef Rob Roy Cameron, the team behind Untitled in Dalston, are opening up a new spot together called Gazelle. But this time they’re leaving East London behind them and setting up on Albermarle Street, smack back in the middle of Mayfair on the same street as Browns Hotel, Gymkhana and Indian Accent.
It’s going to be a two-floor space in an 1820s Georgian building and will be open for lunch and dinner, with small plates and cocktails available throughout the afternoon. The food and drink is getting an equal billing here, with Tony focusing on champagne cocktails and Rob creating dishes like halibut & elderflower and monkfish & burnt seeds. And considering he’s worked at El Bulli amongst other places, it could well be pretty high end stuff.
