the recent release of his stunning solo album and not to mention perfect performance we popped down to at Rough Trade East, Gaz Coombes, former frontman of Supergrass, has released an epic mini documentary on the making of Matador. Giving an insight into his rich creative process and the natural flow of lyrics and production, the exciting documentary layered with excerpts from the epic album really gives a sense of welcoming and congratulations to Gaz for fulfilling this intense labour of love.

We sure are grateful he took on the challenge to go it alone and produce thing himself! The brave move to go it alone and truly play and produce the album himself has paid off. He explains as daunting as it is to not have a band to share the responsibility and ideas with, that is what drove the process surprisingly easily.
