duo Rachel Butt and Ed Critchley AKA GAPS’s new single ‘She Bears A flower’ is nothing short of stunning. Breathtakingly etheral vocals give a surreal flesh and blood feel to the delicate electronic instrumentation drifting though the track. With a repititive verse similar to an old schoolyard rhyme contributing to the haunting nature of the song, ‘She bears a flower’ has enough melody to flow but still carries a substantially airy presence, leaving it tinged with a beautiful amorphous quality. Don’t listen to it if you’re walking home by yourself in the dark though- it’s quite spooky, you’ll probs cry.
‘She Bears A Flower’ is out December 1st
