gamma gamma to open in soho

Modern pan-Asian tapas is coming to Soho as Gamma Gamma opens on the site formerly occupied by Bo Drake this September. As well as featuring dishes like an Asian take on a Nicoise salad using seared nori tuna loin and cherry, scallop and tiger prawn cheung fun, and jackfruit curry, the Gamma Gamma menu will also showcase more exotic meats like kangaroo, ostrich (used in a jungle curry) and zebra (for zebra loin tataki with charred grapes and popcorn).

The drinks list be Asian-inspired too, with sakes, wines and cocktails like the Grammatini (vodka, lemongrass and lychee) and the Smokey Eye (whiskey, plum wine, chilli syrup and red vermouth) on offer. There’s no shortage of Asian restaurants in the area but not many have gone down the exotic meat route so this could be one interesting spot.
