Board games are back in fashion and one of the most fashionable places to play them is The Beaumont. The Mayfair hotel is running a monthly Games Night in its Gatsby Room, nodding back to the 1920s tradition of playing games and cards. You can choose from a selection of classic games, including chess, rummikub, scrabble and backgammon, to be played by 2 – 6 people, with champagne, cocktails and bar snacks to keep you going between rounds.
Games Night will take place on the first Tuesday of the month and you’ll get a complimentary round of snacks if you order a classic cocktail or glass of champagne with your game. And if you’re visiting the hotel on any other evening and want to play, you’re able to request a game in Gatsby’s whenever the mood strikes you.
