Tolaunch the new series of exclusive events at Bar Galante, Thursday 20th February sees the luxury Sloane Avenue bar turn into the ultimate Après-Ski soiree.
Complete with Beluga Noble vodka luges, hot cocktails, fondues and a live set from DJ Jack Guinness, this is bound to be the best chalet party this side of Sochi. Having just got back from our annual skiing trip, we are really excited about this, and as all of us know, the best part of skiing is the Après! The best fun always happens off piste.
The cocktail menu is packed full of frozen delights, including the show stopping Flaming Chilli and Passion Martini mixed with Beluga vodka, Kalhua, Laphroig and vanilla liqueur with fiery slices of chilli and rum soaked passion fruit.
If the ice sculptures start to make you feel chilly, we suggest trying one of the hot cocktails such as the Hot Argentine Toddy, inspired from Galante 1930s Argentine cocktails – Whiskey, honey orange liqueur with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg will surely warm your cockles.
The chalet menu, crated by Executive Chef at the Gaucho, Brett Duarte features provoleta fondue with sour dough bread, smoked salmon with pickled cucumber, potential stand out rosti with pouched quails egg and blinis with Avruga caviar. Look out for the lomito steak sandwich with malbec mustard mayo – perfect for soaking up all those spirits!
For those who are daring to wear their ski gear on the night will be rewarded with a complimentary cocktail of their choice…maybe leave the snowboard at home though, yeah?
