The BBQ specialists behind From The Ashes are sticking around in E8
Since it launched last summer, the Five Points Courtyard has been serving up some of the best BBQ in town thanks to their resident grillers, From The Ashes. Now, the From The Ashes team has announced they’ll officially be heading up the beer garden’s kitchen on a permanent basis – just in time for spring and summer.
The nose-to-tail concept was created by Martin Anderson and Curtis Bell who met at temper Soho in 2019 where they decided to start a delivery service before graduating to their east London collection spot. Though they’re not operating out of their Hackney Wick hatch anymore, From The Ashes launched their own pub in Wandsworth – THE RAM – last year all while bringing mouth-watering smoked pork doughnuts to Five Points pub-goers.
From The Ashes will be celebrating their permanent launch with an Easter feast over the bank holiday, featuring Scottish Herdwick lamb. After that, expect a menu of smoky, meaty mains and killer sides. And, of course, *that* doughnut.
