Late Night Openings at the Barbican Conservatory

After taking a break over the festive period, The Barbican Conservatory, a tropical oasis in the heart of the city, is now back open to the public. The Conservatory, which houses around 1500 different plants and trees in amongst the Barbican’s brutalist architecture, and is home to three pools of fish and terrapins, is a real urban jungle and is one of the best places to explore in the city. It’s only open on weekends, with later opening hours (from 6.30pm – 9.30pm) on Friday nights. Best of all, it’s totally FREE to visit – just make sure you book your slot in advance (they fill up fast). Tickets are released a month in advance, with a limited number of day tickets released at 9.30am.
