If you’ve been to Frenchie and loved the bacon scones, we’ve got good news for you. And if you haven’t made it there yet, we’ve still got good news because Gregory Marchand is opening a bacon scone pop-up in Covent Garden, meaning you don’t have to book into the restaurant to get your fix.
The pop-up, on the lower level of Covent Garden Market (just down the road from the restaurant), will serve the cult smoked bacon and maple syrup scones with clotted cream, with the option to takeaway. You’ll also be able to get a veggie goat’s cheese version and there’ll be banoffee scones for dessert. Gregory is also installing a PacMan arcade game, available for guests to play on for the duration of the pop-up, and whoever has the highest score at the end will win a tasting experience for two at Frenchie Covent Garden. Better get practising.
