If your plants are in need of a little TLC or you’re wanting to connect with nature a bit more, head down to Freedom From Torture’s botanical pop-up in Shoreditch at the end of the month. The charity is putting on a range of plant-themed events, including a talk on how gardening can benefit mental health, a terrarium making workshop with Alex The Plant Guy, a session on how to make the most of your balcony, speed dating to find your perfect plant, and how to forest bathe in the city with The Eco Monkey. The pop-up will also have a variety of plants for sale as well as botanical artwork by refugee artists.
