FREE PLANT-BASED ZERO-WASTE COOKERY CLASSES

If you hate wasting food but don’t know what to do with produce that’s past its best, then check this out. The Small Change, Big Difference campaign is running FREE zero-waste cookery classes so you can learn how to cut down on waste, save some money and help the planet – it’s estimated that Londoners bin 910,000 of food every year, and that’s a lot of waste.

The chefs leading the classes will show you how to whip up quick and easy recipes like veggie dips, soups from fridge leftovers, fruit compotes and savoury bread & butter pudding. All the ingredients are provided, and they’re low cost, healthy and easy to find so you’ll have no problem replicating the recipes at home. The classes are free but you will have to pay a £10 deposit for the tickets – this is fully refundable, and in the event of no-shows, the money goes to charity.
