A load of drive-in cinemas are pulling into London this summer – so far we’ve got The Drive-In, @TheDriveIn, Sunset Cinema, and Drive & Dine Theatre – but if you don’t have a set of wheels, you can still get in on the movie action thanks to Free Range Film Club. Screens will be popping up at Three Mills Island, Blackheath Common and Brockwell Park this summer with socially spacious layouts so you can watch a film al fresco with no cars in sight.
The programme features a mix of cult classics, feel-good films and indie faves, including Bridesmaids, Rocketman, Jackie Brown, Little Miss Sunshine, Thelma & Louise and O Brother Where Art Thou? and you’ll also be able to get BBQ grub, street food and booze delivered to your patch.
