generous peeps at Wahaca have teamed up with food waste campaigner Tristram Stuart to raise awareness of The Pig Idea and the fight to get food waste back on the menu for pigs.

The campaign has already seen the rearing of 8 piglets at Stepney City Farm fed on legally permissible food waste and it’s these little piggies that will be cooked up on 21st November in Trafalgar Square and offered out free…the cheek of it!

Everyone will eat for free (but it’s first come, first served) and food will be in the form of the pork pibil tacos from Wahaca and other dishes from various restaurants. The dish to be cooked up is being chosen by the people and you can get involved online now.

Free lunch? We’re in!

Thurs 21st Nov, 12 – 4pm
Trafalgar Square
