it just had to happen didn’t it…an opera on burgers! The popularity of burger joints is still going strong with collaborations, pop ups and new openings springing up everywhere. You’d think that there is nothing much that can be offered to the burger world…well there is now.

GBK have produced a fifteen minutes long paean to the patty entitled ‘BURGER: THE OPERA’ which can be seen twice a day all this week at their Waterloo branch. In partnership with Secret Opera, an experimental opera company the opera plays out the story of a passionate GBK employee and his experience of falling head over heels in love…you guessed it…a burger.
