chef, Robert Thompson, will be taking over the breakfast service at one of our favourite Old Street cafes the Shoreditch Grind tomorrow (Thursday 3rd November).

For one day only he will be knocking up a Smoky Eel Puff-Pastry with Emmental and Apple (sounds erm…interesting), and will be handing them out for FREE when customers purchase a hot drink. The free brekkie marks the launch of the Great British Chefs website, which is an online portal of recipes from 60 of the UK’s best chefs.

Free breakfast = BONUS although we’re not too sure on the sound of that pastry! Let us know if you try one.
