a small street in the heart of East London last year, Found Festival presented to us a set from the godfather of house, Mr Frankie Knuckles.  He span such an epic set Shoreditch got so hyped the crowd’s energy was almost nuclear.  May he rest in peace in house heaven.

Found Festival’s class of 2014 presents to us Crosstown Rebel’s Commander in Chief, and ex Dazed and Confused music editor, the beautifully bearded Mr Damian Lazarus.  Lazarus is a seminal and influential man right on the cutting edge of underground electronic music and never fails to deliver premium quality sets.

Riding shotgun to Lazarus on Found’s mainstage is breakthrough boy, Ben Pearce. His debut track ‘What I Might Do’ is expertly crafted, anthemic and pure unadulterated house.  Having just launched his label Purp & Soul he looks set to follow Lazarus’s lead by driving dance music forwards, onwards and upwards.  Repping for the girls, Cassy Britton, will be throwing down some house and techno tracks and “House Gangster” DJ Sneak and BBC Radio 1’s resident DJ Heidi will also be serving up fierce sets.

As a hat tip to Frankie Knuckles, Lil Louis will also be joining the Haggerston crew to remind us how they bring the house down in the windy city of Chicago.

Found festival kicks off at 11am and tunes out at 9pm….fear not though Found Festival folk, there’s always an after party and this year it’s being held at South East’s London’s Coronet Theatre, where an array of underground DJs will play across the venue’s five rooms from dusk until dawn.
