yourself a bit of a foodie? Better get yourself down to Ally Pally over the Bank Holiday weekend then because Foodies Festival is back for 2016. There’ll be plenty of street food to taste as well as plenty of produce on offer at the artisan market. If taking part is your thing then food and drink masterclasses, including beer tastings cake making and champagne tutorials, will run across the weekend, or if you prefer to sit back and watch someone else do the hard work, look out for the live demos. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can unleash your competitive side and get involved in the bug eating and chilli eating contests. It wouldn’t be a festival without music, which’ll be coming from the Unsigned Music Awards stage, and drinks, which’ll be coming from the Appleton Estate Rum Bus, Giant Pimm’s Teapot and Mojito Ship. Now that sounds like a party.
