FOOD HALL SESSIONS TO OPEN IN ISLINGTON

They’ve opened Shelter Hall in Brighton and now food hall operator Sessions, founded by former Deliveroo MD Dan Warne, is setting up shop in London. Opening in Islington in August, Sessions will be restaurant-food hall-delivery kitchen hybrid, giving chefs and traders a launchpad for their food by offering kitchen space as well as menu development, branding, marketing and operational expertise.

Sessions will run four different menus created in collaboration with a rotating line-up of chefs (diners will be able to order from all the different brands at once via the Sessions app). The first four chefs who’ll be cooking there are Hasan Semay, who’ll be launching his first brand Big Has after a decade in London kitchens and a successful lockdown YouTube series; Jay Morjaria, who’ll be showcasing his new Korean small plates concept Tiger and Rabbit; Zoe Adjonyoh, who’s bringing back Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen; and Richie Hayes and Elliot Kaye, who’ll be bringing the breakfast vibes with Norman’s.

Opens Thurs 11th August 2022
77 Upper Street, Islington, London, N1 0NU
