Fontaines D.C. Are Playing Their Biggest Show to Date at Finsbury Park

The Irish five-piece will be playing the park next summer

Going from playing for about 30 people in The Finsbury to playing for 45,000 people in Finsbury Park is testament to just how popular Fontaines D.C. have become. As well as picking up BRIT and NME Awards and Ivor Novello and Mercury Prize nominations, the band have built up a reputation for incredible live shows and they’re all set to deliver another – their biggest one yet – to the people of north London next summer.

The massive outdoor show will come after their ROMANCE world tour (which is stopping in Ally Pally and is already sold-out). ROMANCE, the band’s fourth album featuring singles ‘Starburster’ and ‘Favourite’, is coming out on 23rd August and looks set to be their best record yet, so if you haven’t got tickets for the tour, you won’t want to miss them in Finsbury Park.

Joining them on the day will be Australian punk band Amyl and the Sniffers and Kneecap, two bands who’ve built their own dedicated followings, and there are more names still to come. It may be a while away but tickets go on sale at 10am on 9th August, so snap them up and then you have plenty of time to get excited.
