flykick your way into the summer
There’s a brand new fitness studio in town that focuses on mind, body and kickboxing. YES! Flykick’s studio on Euston Road is a beaut, with low lights, loud music and plenty of encouragement from the team, and you’re in for a work out alright. Each class takes you through their warm up, to awaken your body and get the blood flowing, and then it’s through to the burn phase, a high-intensity workout that blasts through a range or exercises and movements. The flex phase will stretch out your muscles, slow down your breathing and enhance your mobility. Then it’s time to get the gloves on; working both the bag and your body you punch and kick concentrating on both technique and power before targeting your core to get those killer abs. Breathing hard, dripping in sweat you’ll take a moment to cool down and relax. The work out is hard and you get out what you put in but it’s also super fun and has a great atmosphere. If you are down with a kickboxing-inspired HIIT workout, then Flykick is the one for you.
