After getting such a big response to the breads and pastries coming out of their Borough Market site, the Flor team are doubling down on the baked goods and opening Flor Bakery at Spa Terminus in Bermondsey. Helen Evans, head of bread & pastry at Flor and Lyle’s, will be overseeing the bakery, which’ll use flours milled-on site as well as from millers across the UK to make a range of different loaves and pastries.

We’re talking house sourdough; 100% rye tin loaf; Baker’s Choice porridge loaf made with wheat, barley, spelt, rye, grain porridge & golden linseeds; classic and almond croissants; seasonal danishes; lardy buns; and those famous brown butter cakes. The bakery arch will be open on Saturdays for you to swing by and pick up coffee and fresh baked goods, with a nationwide delivery service also running (including mince pie kits on 17th December) for those that want the bakes to come to them. Bring on the bread.
