With so many outdoor pop up cinemas in London the new ones need to do something different for people to sit up and take notice. The floating cinema is doing just that, showing short films aboard a customised narrow boat during the day, and when night falls, large-scale outdoor projections accompanied by live music & DJs.

The Floating Cinema has been created by Hackney-based team of architects Studio Weave and artist duo Somewhere (Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie) to host a varied and vibrant programme of on-board screenings, quirky canal tours, talks and workshops.
