One Aldwych are relaunching their new Film & Fizz season this Friday, 7th February with the critically acclaimed ‘Frances Ha’ starting the stellar line-up of movies showing all the way til April. We had the pleasure of heading down for a special preview of Inside Llywen Davis. It’s safe to stay it knocks spots of the local multiplex!
Taking a trip to the flicks to a whole new level, Film & Fizz is a real treat. Priced at £47.50, We know this is a little more than the Holloway Road Odeon, but you get to experience a movie in the private 30 seat screening room, enjoy a glass of crisp Lallier Champagne and once the films finished, relax in the hotel’s restaurant Axis over a 3 course meal.
The Film & Fizz menu, created by Executive Chef Dominic Teague is a celebration of British cuisine with a contemporary twist. Tartare of mackerel is a much try as is the velvety artichoke and truffle veloute. Expect Brit favourites such as Cornish Lamb and Scottish salmon all cooked to perfection, with desserts of Yorkshire rhubarb panna cotta and bitter chocolate tart.
