To celebrate the opening of their new boutique in Selfridges, Tiffany & Co is launching an interactive exhibition at the Old Selfridges Hotel, adjacent to Selfridges on Oxford Street. Aptly named ‘Fifth & 57th’, the exhibition aims to give customers the true Tiffany & Co. New York experience. Anyone can visit (it’s free!), and open from 3rd to 12th July.
When arriving at the space, visitors will enter through the doors of a subway car and can stroll the avenue lined with buildings that have been constructed out of thousands of white boxes. A Central Park setting will be featured in the space too, with a large charming magnolia tree. Other features include a digital store front where guests can peer into the past and view Tiffany’s iconic window displays created by legendary window displayer Gene Moore.
An official Tiffany engraver is also being flown over from NY who will be working in a live interactive workshop. So grab your ring from the cereal box, dress up in head to toe glamour and experience being a real-life Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Only catch is, they will only engrave items purchased at the Tiffany’s counter in Selfridges. We knew that film was too good to be true.
