festival no.6 at tate britain

Festival No.6 is branching out from its Portmeirion home for the first time with a one-off event at Tate Britain. The line-up for the mini-festival includes a live music from Blossoms in the Duveen galleries, sets from Charlotte Church and DJ Greg Wilson, comedy from Sara Pascoe and poetry from John Cooper Clarke. Food and drink has been given just as much attention, with a gin bar overlooking the Rotunda, a wine tasting masterclass in the Grand Saloon, a food emporium in the Djanogly Café and a feast inspired by Rex Whistler’s mural ‘In Pursuit of Rare Meats’. And if that wasn’t quite enough, tickets also get you after-hours access to both the Paul Nash exhibition and the Hockney retrospective currently on show in the gallery.
