FEAST ON GLOW-IN-THE-DARK BAO BUNS AND CANDYFLOSS BURRITOS AT FLAVOURSCAPES

Think you know Regent Street? Sure it’s lined with iconic brands, flagship stores and restaurants but for one weekend in February, part of it is being transformed into the UK’s most experimental food market, where things are not quite what they seem.

Flavourscapes, co-curated with The Robin Collective, is taking over Glasshouse Street, just off Regent Street, on 17th & 18th February and serving up the ultimate feast for the senses. You’ll be able to experience unexpected food combos and eat joy thanks to dishes like sweet potato doughnuts dipped in a vibrantly coloured five cheese fondue fountain, fluorescent glow-in-the-dark bao buns, candyfloss burritos, and liquid nitrogen ice cream.

Once you’ve had your fill of food, you can head over to the cocktail bar for even more inventive creations, including a boozy Upside-Down Iced Tea, served hot with a jelly ‘ice cube’, and a warming Punchy Punch made with ginger and chilli. Social enterprise Change Please will also be on hand with coffees and other hot drinks, with 100% of the profits they make going towards supporting people experiencing homelessness.

As well as brightening up your winter with all that exciting food and drink, there’ll be roaming entertainment happening across the Flavourscapes market – we’re talking magicians and more surprises. The most wonderful part is that entry to the Flavourscapes market is free, making it a great day out for the whole family, and once you’ve indulged in all the incredible creations, you’ve still got the rest of Regent Street to explore.
