FAT MACY’S OPENS SOHAILA IN SHOREDITCH

They opened their first restaurant Ebury in Pimlico last year and now social enterprise Fat Macy’s is onto site number two with Sohaila in Shoreditch. It’s a Lebanese-inspired restaurant, natural wine bar and bottle shop that’s serving up dishes like labneh with chilli butter, aubergine maghmour with green pilaf, confit cumin garlic on toast, beef shish barak with chilli butter, falafel & hummus on homemade pitta, and salted tahini & chocolate tart, alongside over 100 natty wines. They’ve even got a wine club where you can get curated boxes dropped at your door each month.

Not only can you get a great meal and a lovely glass of vino at Sohaila, you’re also doing a good deed by eating and drinking there because, like Ebury, all the profits are put back into the Fat Macy’s training schemes that help those in temporary accommodation get the skills they need to go into the hospitality biz and transition into their own homes.
