FASHIONING THE FUTURE WITH ST JAMES’S AND REGENT STREET

St James’s and Regent Street are destinations with strong ties to fashion, design and craft – St James’s has evolved from a destination for traditional gentlemen outfitters to offering a broad range of contemporary fashion, with Regent Street being the first purpose-built shopping street over 200 years ago. Both neighbourhoods are celebrating this by curating content for the new digital London Fashion Week platform, which has merged menswear and womenswear for the first time.

There’s the Innovation in Tradition: The Changing Rituals of Retail panel talk, moderated by Vogue Business and featuring speakers from Liberty, SIRPLUS, London College of Fashion and Stylus. The talk sees industry experts and brands from St James’s and Regent Street discuss how technology, customer service and community are integral to the future of fashion retail. An interesting time to listen as retailers begin to reopen their doors, you can listen to it below:

Retailers from both areas, including BOTTLETOP, Tommy Hilfiger, Benson & Clegg, Arc’teryx and ASICS have also contributed to a special LFW edit. Many of these brands would normally show at LFW but as that’s not been possible, they have created videos to showcase the craftsmanship behind their products and the innovation involved in the design process.
